Baptism is something Christians have been doing for thousands of years to symbolize their faith in Jesus.  Baptism is a public declaration of a new association with Jesus and his family.  Even if you were baptized as an infant, we’ll baptize you again because this time it’s your choice.  You don’t have to have your life all together to be baptized; your relationship with Jesus is a journey that takes a lifetime to complete.  Baptism is one step in that journey.

While baptism shows your faith in Jesus and your connection to your new family, the church in all places and all times, Membership shows your connection and commitment to a local church, here and now. Becoming a member at Westsyde Fellowship Church means that you are choosing to work together with this group of Christians to share Jesus with others in our community, city, and world, and it’s an expression of your commitment to our church.

Because our church is a registered non-profit organization, we also require members to vote and provide a layer of accountability regarding the church’s budget and major decisions.  This is part of the rights and responsibilities of church members, and don’t worry, we won’t ask you to do anything more than what the Bible asks of any follower of Jesus.
