One of the best ways to grow your faith is to volunteer, and the most practical way to serve others is in a Serve Team.

Many people volunteer at Westsyde Fellowship Church to serve kids and teens, greet guests, play music, run production and many other things that make our ministry come alive.

And there’s room for everyone.

Even if you’re not sure about Christianity yet, we’ve got a place for you to serve.

We think by serving you’ll grow. And you might discover what hundreds of other people have discovered: that while you think volunteering requires something from you, it will actually do something good for you and in you.

So join a Serve Team. You’re invited.

Volunteer requirements:

Here at WFC we are committed to keeping everyone safe, volunteers as well as participants.  That’s why we require all of our volunteers and leaders who work with children, youth, and vulnerable adults to go through an application process, obtain a criminal record check, and go through our abuse protocol training.

Our insurance requires that Criminal Record Checks are done every 2 years by all persons working or volunteering with children or vulnerable adults.  It is an easy process…. a quick form of basic information filled in at the church and showing your ID to Kelly who will verify your info.  And it’s free.

Abuse Protocol Training must be completed every year by all volunteers.  This is also very easy.  Email us at for the link to the video, then sign a form to confirm you’ve watched it.

We want to create the safest environment for everyone.  If you are not sure if you are due to update either of these, please ask.

Thank you for your help.
